Prior to Wednesday night's game, Gary Sanchez was placed on the 10-day Lnjured List, having suffered a left groin strain.
The move seemed likely as Sanchez exited Tuesday night's thriller in the eighth. With this being his second IL stint of the season, one would think extra precaution will be taken in his rehab process this go-around.
Look for Austin Romineto do the bulk of the catching, while Kyle Higashioka - who was recalled with Nestor Cortes - will spell him on all rest days.
