The Yankees workhorse has thrown a bullpen session without any problems and said the injury hasn't bothered him.
Sabathia is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Friday and say's he'll be ready to slide back into the rotation. Before that, the 31-year-old will throw another bullpen session in Kansas City while he's there for the All-Star game.
On June 27, Sabathia was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a grade 1 strain of the adductor muscle near his left leg.
