A CT scan taken on Eduardo Nunez right hand came back negative, Yankees manager Joe Girardi said. Nunez was sent for a CT scan Thursday, after he reported discomfort from a batting practice session.
On Monday, Nunez was hit on the right hand by Phillies Austin Hyatt. Nunez was removed from the game and sent for X-rays, which came back negative.
The Yankees are taking things slow with Eduardo Nunez sore right hand. The club told Nunez not to participate in Friday's batting practice session.
Nunez is not listed on the Yankees travel roster for today's game against the Braves in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
