The Yankees have officially activated David Robertson off the 15-day disabled list, the team announced. Robertson had been on the DL with a strained left oblique.
Right-hander David Phelps was optioned to the minors to make room on the roster. He'll get stretched out to 5.0 innings in Single-A Tampa before joining Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (Empire State).
