The Yankees have agreed to a one-year deal with left-handed hitter, Raul Ibanez, reports Bryan Hoch. The deal is pending a physical.
The Yankees see Ibanez as the left-handed compliment to Andruw Jones, who figures to be the designated hitter against left-handed pitching.
Ibanez hit .245/.289/.415 with 20 home runs and 84 RBIs in 144 games for the Phillies last season.
