Castro was placed on the disabled list twice this season due to a strained right hamstring, the latest stint occurring on July 22nd. While Castro has returned to the ball club, Greg Bird is still completing his rehab stint in Triple-A. If Bird continues to progress, he could be reinstated in the coming days.
