Anthony Swarzak placed on DL, Ben Heller called up
Following last night's rough outing, the Yankees announced that they've placed RHP Anthony Swarzak on the 15-day disabled list with right rotator cuff tendinitis. RHP Ben Heller was called up from Scranton. Swarzak, 30, gave up a three-run home run to Mike Zunino last night which turned out to be the difference in the game. Overall, he's 1-2 with an ugly 5.90 ERA in 25 games this season. Heller was acquired in the Andrew Miller trade a few weeks ago, and was called up earlier this month although he never appeared in a game. He's 0-1 with a 1.42 ERA in six games out of the pen for the Railriders.
