CC Sabathia eligible to come off DL Tuesday
According to several reports, CC Sabathia is successfully making his way back to the rotation. The lefty tossed a 57-pitch bullpen session yesterday and is scheduled to throw again tomorrow. He is eligible to return from the DL on Tuesday and we would likely see his return to the mound during a four-game series against the Blue Jays in the Bronx which begins on April 19th.

The Yankees certainly need Sabathia healthy and contributing to a rotation which has struggled out of the gate in 2018. CC has pitched to a 4.00 ERA in his two starts thus far, but the club is hoping he can replicate his comeback 2017 performance in which he went 14-5 with 3.69 ERA in 27 starts.
With Sonny Gray, Luis Severino and Jordan Montgomery all underperforming early on, it's imperative for the club to have Sabathia's veteran leadership available to them as they look to bounce back from their 6-7 start.
Some hope for Yankees fans should he return against Toronto: Per ESPN, The Blue Jays current roster has posted a .239 batting average with 62 strikeouts against him in 251 at-bats.
