Picture Perfect: Reliving Derek Jeter's Walk Off
One year ago today, one of the greatest moments in Yankees history occurred. Derek Jeter, in what turned out to be his final at-bat at Yankee Stadium, slapped an opposite-field, walk off RBI single in the bottom of the 9th to spur his team to a 6-5 win against the Baltimore Orioles. A poetic ending such as this was only fitting for one of the greatest and classiest players of all-time.
We took to Twitter on the anniversary of Jeter's home finale and asked fans, using the hashtag #JeterWalkOff, what they remembered from that night and what that hit in particular meant to them.
