Pirela Injured on Hit to Center

Jose Pirela was carted off the field after the first batter in the bottom of the first against the New York Mets. Pirela was chasing a deep fly ball hit by Juan Lagares and crashed into the centerfield fence.

Pirela was down for around five minutes before being carted off the field. Jack Curry says Pirela has a concussion.

Yankees say Pirela has a concussion and is getting a CT scan at Tradition Medical Center.
