Winter Meetings: Yankees interested in Asdrubal Cabrera
Although Dustin Ackley and Rob Refsnyder remain in the mix for second base duties in 2016, the Yankees are said to be interested in Asdrubal Cabrera according to Jon Morosi of FOX Sports.

The Yankees have said that they're most likely to upgrade the team through trades rather than free agency because they don't have a lot of money coming off the books, so Cabrera would have to come at a lower price tag. Ackley and Refsnyder are viewed as offense-first type players, so Cabrera would provide more balance on both sides of the ball. He's coming off a year in which he hit .265/.315/.430 with 15 homers and 58 RBI while fielding at a .980 clip (nine errors in 443 chances). He didn't play 2B in '15, but has logged 210 games there in his career compared to 867 games played at SS. Cabrera, 30, is a two-time all-star and a career .267 hitter.
