CC Sabathia (2-5, 4.67 ERA) goes for three wins in a row against Nick Martinez (3-0, 1.88 ERA) and the Rangers. CC has given up four earned runs, five total, on 12 hits in his last two starts while walking two and K-ing 14. He went seven innings in his last start in KC giving up just one run on six hits. He is very familiar with Texas holding a 11-3 lifetime record with a 4.45 ERA in 18 starts.

In his four May starts, Martinez is 1-0 with a 3.68 ERA and 1-0 with a 1.52 ERA on the road this season. He beat the Indians his last time out going five innings giving up just one run on five hits. He faced the Yanks twice last year going 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA.
