Yankees hit 5 homers in win over Texas
NEW YORK -- Back in the confines of Yankee Stadium, the Bombers continued a recent hot streak as they hit five home runs in a 7-3 win over the Texas Rangers.
Aaron Hicks opened the scoring with a two-run homer, his 20th of the season, in the game's opening frame. Miguel Andujar and Neil Walker then went back-to-back in the fourth.

J.A. Happ returned from the DL and gave the Yankees six strong innings. He gave up just three runs and four hits, with a Shin-Soo Choo two-run double in the fifth being the big blow for Texas.
Giancarlo Stanton then joined the party with a long solo shot in the bottom half of the frame, off of Ariel Jurado. With an exit velocity of 121.7 mph, it was the hardest hit home run ever in the Statcast era.

To finish things off, Walker hit another homer in the sixth, this time from the right side, as he accomplished the feat for the first time in his career.
After David Robertson and Dellin Betances each pitched a clean inning, Aaron Boone called on Aroldis Chapman with a four-run lead.
The Cuban would then make things interesting after walking the first two batters he faced. He, however, would bounce back to get the next three batters out and conserve the New York victory.
The series continue tomorrow with Masahiro Tanaka facing off with Mike Minor.
