Yankees Support USWNT in Tampa

Last night, several New York Yankees (C.C. Sabathia, Alex Rodriguez, Greg Bird, Dellin Betances, Brian McCann, Brett Gardner, Chase Headley, Didi Gregorius, Carlos Beltran, and Chasen Shreve) were in attendance to witness the USA Women’s Soccer play in the inaugural SheBelieves cup. In the backyard of Steinbrenner Field, the first round match was held at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Donning their red, white, and blue in a team bonding outing, the Bronx Bombers witnessed goalkeeper Hope Solo’s 96th career shutout. After a 1-0 victory over England, the players and the Yankees were all smiles in their post-game photo.
