A.J. Burnett has passed his physical and Major League Baseball has approved the trade, tweets Jon Heyman. Burnett will be shipped to the Pirates for two low-level minor league players, Diego Moreno and Exicardo Cayones. Also, the Bucs will pay $13M in salary relief.

Diego Moreno (25), was promoted to Class AA last year and had 4.91 ERA in seven games. In five Minor League seasons, Moreno is 11-9, 2.41.

Exicardo Cayones (20) hit .228/.333/.325 last year between the Gulf Coast League and the New York-Penn League.
